Square Enix today (16th June) officially launches the smartphone ARPG “Dragon Quest Tact” (ドラゴンクエストタクト) for iOS and Android devices. To celebrate the game launch, a login bonus campaign is held for players to obtain a maximum of 1,600 gems.
“Dragon Quest Tact” is a turn-based SRPG, which allows players to command the signature monsters from the “Dragon Quest” series in battles. The 3D graphics and action is said to be the highlight of the game.

The game starts with the protagonist (You) waking up by a mysterious voice. It entrusts you the legendary “Tact,” which can command and empower the monsters. At the same time, monsters around the world are affected by a dark force that makes them violent. You thus embark on a journey to investigate the incident.
As the game progresses, monsters that you defeat will join your team eventually. You have to command the monsters to move and unleash their different skills. The monsters’ skill range and movement distance will be the key to win. Auto-mode is unlocked after clearing Chapter 2, Episode 2.
You can also collect materials to rank up the monsters or use magic books to enhance the skills. Collecting the same monsters will automatically evolve the characters and increase the stats of the monsters.
