Studio MGCM announced that the magic girl RPG “MAGICAMI” (マジカミ) is getting an English release in late August during the “Magic Kami Official Live Broadcast!” aired yesterday (22nd July). The collaboration with TV anime “The Quintessential Quintuplets∬” will also start on August 16.
The English version of“MAGICAMI” is confirmed to launch in U.S.A, Canada, and Mexico. A traditional Chinese version will also launch in Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong.
▍Collaboration with“The Quintessential Quintuplets∬”
The collaboration with “The Quintessential Quintuplets∬” will take place between 16th ~ 31st August 2020. It will feature a fully-voiced event story, while players can enjoy the interaction between the quintuplets and the magic girls.
Collaboration costume UR Raiha Uesugi (上杉瀨葉) and 5,000 jewels will be presented to all players. The collaboration gacha will also feature characters, who dress as the quintuplets.
▍Future Update
The game will have an update on 27th July. A new function Team Sabat (チームサバト) will be added to the game. It is a 3vs3 battle, where players will have to form a team of six in the 2-round battle.
In September, the Room function will be upgraded as Studio, where players can customize the outlook of the magic girls and upload your work on SNS.
