D-techno today (31st July) announces that a new game project “Higurashi When They Cry Mei” (ひぐらしのなく頃に 命) is coming to smartphones in summer 2020. The game also opens for pre-registration.
The smartphone game project is created based on the franchise’s new anime television series, which is set to premiere this October. Developed by Smile Ax, the game is supervised by the visual novel series creator 07th Expansion and features a completely original story by Ichi Kanōki (叶希一). Ayane (彩音) performs the game’s theme song “Frustration” (フラストレーショ).

Players can now pre-register the game by following the official Twitter or the Top 10 site. The pre-registration rewards are as follows:
