MIRAIRE announces that its upcoming “Captain Tsubasa” AR mobile game “TSUBASA＋” will release in Europe on 30th September 2020, and in Asia and Oceania on 15th October 2020.
Spanish soccer player Andres Iniesta has been revealed as the first official supporter of the game. A collaboration video has been revealed.

▍ Gameplay
“TSUBASA＋” is a “real-world” game that tries to recreate the universe of “Captain Tsubasa” by untilizing the GPS function. Google Maps Platform is used to create the game’s map. “Street Fighter II” and “Monster Strike” game designer Yoshiki Okamoto (岡本吉起) are participating in the game’s development. Hip-hop group m-flo’s DJ Taku Takahashi is creating the game’s BGM.
The game features the signature characters from “Captain Tsubasa,” as well as professional soccer players from Japan and the world. Gamers will play as these soccer players and check-in different Soccer Stadiums in real locations.
Players will challenge the characters with one-on-one matches by stacking three coloured energy balls on top of each other. When you win the battles, the character will join your team.
You can also build a team of three and challenge different players in the PvP soccer match. It is possible to build your dream team with “Captain Tsubasa’s” Tsubasa Oozora and his rival Kojiro Hyuga. Strengthen your characters by challenging different Stadiums or the training system.
