Bandai Namco yesterday (6th October) revealed the game system for its upcoming PS4/PC game “The Idolmaster: Starlit Season” (アイドルマスター スターリットシーズン) during “The Idolmaster: Starlit Season Starlit Report” live stream. The game has been delayed from its previously planned 2020 release window to 2021 in Japan due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
▍Overview
In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the franchise, the video game collects characters from “The IDOLM@STER”, “The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls”, “The IDOLM@STER Million Live!”, and “The IDOLM@STER: Shiny Colors”.
The idol groups from the four agencies will join in the new “LUMINOUS Project”. Players will serve as the producer of the project and you are asked to create a new unit to participate in the Starlit Season festival. A new journey thus begins as the idols compete against each other to perform at the opening of the new Starlit Dome.

In Free Time, you can make bonds with your idols and enjoy their individual story. Resolving the idols’ troubles as a producer will increase the idol’s Bond Level and thus brings out their potential.
