The TV anime adaptation of Dojyomaru and Fuyuyuki’s light novel series “How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom” (現実主義勇者の王国再建記) is confirmed to premiere in July 2021. The main cast and staff are also revealed.
Yūsuke Kobayashi plays as protagonist Kazuya Souma (right above), while Inori Minase plays as the heroine Liscia Elfrieden. The series follows Kazuya Sōma, a humanities-student-turned-hero as he pulls on his knowledge of realism and Machiavellianism in order to rebuild a nearly collapsed kingdom.
“The Slayers” director Takashi Watanabe is directing the anime at J.C.STAFF. “Moriarty the Patriot” series composition writer Go Zappa joins “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” writer Hiroshi Ohnogi to write the scripts. Mai Otsuka is designing the characters.
