Originally announced for 2019, the 2018-announced Yu Yu Hakusho mobile title, Yu Yu Hakusho GENKAI Battle Spirits, is now announced for 2021.
Yu Yu Hakusho GENKAI Battle Spirits is a mobile ARPG developed by Mobcast Games set in the original series’ universe. Players will be able to use their favorite characters and their iconic special moves from the series complete with iconic lines from the anime series. The game supports co-op, allowing players to work together with other players to clear stages.
State of the Game
The game was officially announced in 2018 as a co-developed game between Mobcast Games and eitarosoft. But on 17th January 2019, eitarosoft announced bankruptcy. Despite the news, Mobcast Games announced that they will continue the project on their own, but it is not until now (Nov 2020) that the project is officially being picked up.
