The TV anime “Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Dōkōkai” (ラブライブ！虹ヶ咲学園スクールアイドル同好会) has confirmed a second season for 2022 during the “Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Dōkōkai 3rdLive! School Idol Festival” event on May 8 and 9.
The nine-member Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Dōkōkai were revealed in 2017, as part of the Love Live! School Idol Festival game’s 2017 “Perfect Dream Project.” Unlike the idol group from “Love Live!”, the members of Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Dōkōkai are competitors and official popularity polls are organized to determine the most popular idol.
