Mobcast announced on May 11 that it is developing a new mobile game project based on Koei’s “Nobunaga no Yabou: Tendou” (信長の野望・天道) video game.
The game is set to release in Asia, including Japan and China, but details are not yet revealed.
▍About “Nobunaga no Yabou: Tendou”
“Nobunaga no Yabō: Tendō” (transl. Nobunaga’s Ambition: The Way of Heaven) is the thirteenth title in the “Nobunaga no Yabō” video game series. It was first released in September 2009 for PC and later released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The series takes place during the Japanese Warring States period. As the title suggests, the player is tasked with achieving Oda Nobunaga’s ultimate goal: the conquest and unification of Japan. Selecting Nobunaga is optional, however, as the player can choose from a variety of other regional daimyo of the time. Available daimyo changes based on the historical scenario the players select to play.
