DeNA announced that the new Touhou Project rhythm game Touhou Danmaku Kagura will launch for iOS and Android on August 4.
The game revealed the fifth promotional video previewing the playable songs “Touhou Youyoumu” (東方妖々夢) and “Phantom Ensemble” (幽霊楽団 ~PhantomEnsemble). The game’s scenario is written by storynote, led by Jin Fujisawa, the director, and writer of the Dragon Quest series.

Touhou Danmaku Kagura is the first rhythm mobile game of the Touhou Project franchise. The game features the hit songs of the Touhou Project franchise. Players can build your team with more than 40 signature characters, use their card skills and enjoy their individual stories.
Players can also build famous places in “Gensokyo” such as “Scarlet Devil Mansion” and “Chireiden” with an aim to rebuild “Gensokyo”. As the reconstruction progresses, more visitors will come and unlock fully-voiced episodes. You can also dispatch the characters to collect materials for the reconstruction.

The game celebrates its pre-registration reaching 500,000 milestones and players can obtain all the pre-registration rewards including SSR Reimu Hakurei, SSR Marisa, Spirit Stones, and more when the game is officially released.
