TROYCA and DMM Pictures posted a new teaser video and key visual for the original anime series, Shinobi no Ittoki. The teaser revealed the story, main cast, and staff. It also announced that the anime will be broadcast in October 2022.
This ninja battle anime depicts the harsh fate of Ittoki Sakuraba, a seemingly very ordinary boy who learns one day that he is the 19th legitimate heir of the Iga ninja clan, who have been in a long-brewing war between the Kōga clan.
Shuu Watanabe is directing the anime at TROYCA, and Minato Takano is in charge of the series scripts. Isamu Suzuki is serving as chief animation director and is also the character designer. TOMISIRO is composing the music. DMM Pictures and Troyca are together planning the series, but TROYCA is in charge of the animation.

▍Shinobi no Ittoki Anime Synopsis
Ninjas do not exist. At least, that’s what we believe…because if ninjas ever existed, they would not reveal themselves to us. That is why ninjas “ostensibly” do not exist.
Ittoki Sakuraba is an ordinary boy who, like many, believes that ninjas do not exist. He was promised a normal, happy, and glorious life, until one day, someone claiming to be of the Kouga clan suddenly attempts to take his life. Why was he targeted? It was because he was the 19th legitimate successor to the venerable Iga clan of ninjas!
The Iga and Kouga clans have long been at odds with each other, and for now, the only way to survive… was to become a ninja himself! Thus, he throws himself into the unknown world of the ninja. He learns, fights, and faces hardships to become a full-fledged ninja.
However, this is only the beginning of the harsh destiny…
