MyDearest revealed a brand new trailer for the upcoming Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate VR sci-fi game. The first-look trailer shows gameplay footage of Dyschronia, including a closer look at the game’s mechanics, controls, and unique characters.
Players take on the role of Hal, a Special Supervisor in Astrum Close City. A futuristic marine location, Astrum Close City is a place where crime has been eradicated. When the founder of the city is suddenly murdered, Hal must step in and bring the suspect to justice.
Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate is set to release on Meta Quest 2 this summer (1st episode) and Nintendo Switch in winter 2022 (full episodes).
▍Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate Gameplay
Players will follow Hal, an inspector with the ability to manipulate the past. Your mission is to solve a crime in a city where no crime is possible. The city is facing its destruction in 7 days and only you have the power to stop it.
Everything players see could be a potential clue so paying attention and taking in every detail is paramount. Players can move around the game’s unique environments to discover and interact with items in order to help with their investigation. No one said being an investigator is easy. Players will also have to deal with the likes of Astrum Close City’s Integrated AI. Persuading the AI and winning over the city’s citizens is key to solving the mystery.
During your investigation, you’ll get the help of the support robot “Lily”. She is the small sidekick that will travel with you, help you and sometimes, make you smile. Enjoy the casual talks with her, maybe she’ll give you a hint about what to do next!
