DMM’s popular web game and mobile game Touken Ranbu (刀剣乱舞) has launched a series of events for this Summer holiday. The most important news announced after the major update yesterday (25th July) is the four swords that can get Kiwame (極) status.
Fans believe they are Nikkari Aoe (にっかり青江), Kunihiro Horikawa (堀川国広), Honebami Toushirou (骨喰藤四郎) and Namazuo Toushirou (鯰尾藤四郎) according to the silhouette pictures released. These swords are all Wakizashi (脇差) that have been available since the very beginning of the game.
They will be available starting 1st August.
The previous short sword hinted for Kiwame has also been confirmed to be Hocho Toshiro (包丁藤四郎).
