▍Sora to Umi no Aida
ソラとウミのアイダ
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Not a fishing game, not a gal game, but Monster Strike?!"
"The game doesn’t offer anything special, beta tests didn’t include much co-op features. Shall wait and see…"
"A Co-op mode will be coming soon right? The Monster Strike gameplay is overplayed, but they have girls. I guess I’ll keep playing."
A totally unexpected pinball gameplay. Although pinball style games have a certain guarantee, it doesn’t seem to related with any other elements of the game… but that seems to add to the weirdness of the game (in a good way).
▍Crystal Hearts
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Chat Room is a mess, nothing but spam."
"Combat requires a certain amount of control, challenges player’s reactions."
"Great graphics, good-looking characters, smooth gameplay, pretty good for a Korean styled game."
The game has resemblance to Summoners War and the character designs aren’t bad. The combat requires some manual control, which adds to the gameplay experience for players. Crystal Hearts currently doesn’t have a lot of characters, but the drop rates for some rare characters can be terrifyingly low…
▍Re:0 Puzzle Collection
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"No original illustrations, no free to play elements, what a sneaky paid game."
"It’s obviously a casual mobile game, so why is there so many paid elements?"
"Have to spend over 1 million (yen) to get all the materials you need…"
basically, if you don’t spend money in this game, there really isn’t much you can do. The game was created by simply combining the powers of Re:0’s popularity and story setting with a puzzle game core. despite all that, it seems fans will still accept it as long as it bears the title of Re:0.
▍Valdylia Senki
バルディリア戦記
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Attractive characters, especially those in the battlefields."
"The Arena System is really boring. I gave it up after a few tries."
"Not a lot of people playing arena because of the bad design? I climbed to 1000th." "No, the game itself is boring."
The game’s system alone is quite interesting, but the game doesn’t have much depth to it. Fortunately the game provides players with all the satisfactions a good collectible RPG has. One bad thing about this game is that there are A LOT of characters in the gacha and the game doesn’t give players a lot of free gems to draw resulting in a typical case of Pay to Win.
▍Diosa Force
神殿戰記
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Another typical mobile VIP game?"
"I’m waiting for the Ys Collaboration."
"Characters aren’t ugly, but there’s this un-explainable cheap feel to it."
A typical VIP shards based mobile game. Character models aren’t particularly great, and character’s voice lines and action voice overs seems to be slightly different… If it wasn’t for the Ys collaboration, this game is nothing…
