TV anime Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru (続『刀剣乱舞-花丸-』) will bring new touken danshi that did not appear in the first season to the show. As revealed earlier, they are Higekiri and his younger brother Hizamaru. In the first trailer released recently, they can be spotted along with another new character – Konnosuke.
The anime will begin on 7th January.

New year day, Yamatonokami Yasusada is leaving “Toaru Honmaru” to travel while the Touken Danshi are planning to celebrate the occasion like humans do. At the same time, Higekiri and Hizamaru finally arrive. Saniwa therefore assign the brothers, Kashuu Kiyomitsu, Akashi Kuniyuki, Hotarumaru, and Shishiou to an mission.
