Based on Square Enix’s new mobile MMORPG of the same title, TV anime Han-Gyaku-Sei Million Arthur (叛逆性ミリオン アーサー) will premiere on 25th October. A second season is also confirmed.
Originally developed by NetEase and Square Enix, Han-gyaku-Sei Million Arthur is already released in China. In the story, the person who is able to pull Excalibur can become a powerful existence called Arthur. However, there isn’t only one Excalibur – there is one million. The million Arthurs changed history and failed to live up to the original legend of Arthur. Six of them are different – they want to make history right. They need to travel back in time, destroy all Excaliburs, and secure a future for everyone.
Mitsutoshi Sato directs the anime at J.C. Staff, with screenplay provided by Tamai Tsuyoshi. The second season will come out in April 2019.
