Previously, Netmarble revealed their line-up for G-Star 2019. Yesterday (14th November), G-Star 2019 officially kick-started and at the Netmarble booth, several gameplay demos were available. Including the recently announced Ni no Kuni mobile game, “Cross Worlds”
Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds is a mobile MMORPG based on the Ni no Kuni universe. The game is developed by the team behind Lineage 2: Revolution, using Unreal Engine 4. The game will be set in the world of Ni no Kuni and will feature soundtracks from other titles from the series.
▍G-Star 2019 Gameplay
Players will be able to choose between 5 classes: Wanderer, Wizard, Engineer, and Swordsman. Players will be able to select a class they are interested in and customize their own character’s appearance.
The game uses real-time combat with action game-style control schemes to give players a fast-paced intuitive action experience. In addition to the main story quests and side quests, the game will also feature over 100 different collectible Imazens, monsters that players can use in combat.
In terms of the experience, the game plays like most mobile MMORPGs. Most quests feature an optional auto-walk feature. The combat of the game is simple enough to get used to and players get to equip different skills (up to 6) to their skill bar depending on their preferred play style.
Graphics-wise, the game looks incredible. The anime-styled character really stands out and the world design stays true to the original games. The vast areas really encourage players to explore every nook and cranny which is the bests parts of an MMORPG.
