DeNA’s board battle smartphone game HUNTER×HUNTER ARENA BATTLE (HUNTER×HUNTER アリーナバトル) officially launches today (30th January) on iOS and Android platform.

Gameplay finds similarity with the board game, Othello. Players will take turns placing your disks on the board and when you turn your opponent’s disk around, you will initiate attacks on your opponent. The disks are differentiated by their skills and effects. Strategy will be needed to win in the game.

The game offers four battle modes, including Dōjō, Rank Match, Free Match, and Room Match. Players can train their battling skills with CPU in Dōjō or with their friends in the Room Match. Free Match will match players randomly for battles. Rare items and hunter titles will be available for those with higher ranks in Rank Match.
