The award-winning video game Cuphead is getting an exclusive show on Netflix on February 18! Titled “The Cuphead Show”, the animated series is a character-driven comedy that follows the unique misadventures of the impulsive Cuphead and his cautious but easily swayed brother Mugman.
According to Netflix, this will be the first long-form animated series production for King Features since announcing their strategy to build character franchises across multiple platforms including television, digital video, licensing and social media.
The series will be developed in house by Netflix Animation but they will be assisted by King Features Syndicate. Award-winning producer Dave Wasson and Cosmo Segurson will be serving as co-executive producers.

Cuphead is a run-and-gun video game developed and published by Studio MDHR released originally in 2017. It was inspired by the rubber hose style from the golden age of American animation. It was highly acclaimed for its art style and music.
The goal of Cuphead is to find all of the souls that have run away from the Devil. Cuphead and his brother Mugman must find these souls and defeat them in battle across various stages or the Devil will take their souls instead
