A teaser visual and trailer of the live-action movie, The Way of the Househusband: the Cinema, based on the manga by Kosuke Ohno has been released. More actors will be revealed soon, but they all appear in the trailer with their faces blurred out, with modified voices.
In the teaser trailer, Tatsu (played by Hiroshi Tamaki), shows his usual househusband strength while holding a leek in the supermarket and shouting, “I caught it! Don’t underestimate the househusband!”. This is followed by a scene of Tatsu’s wife Miku, played by Haruna Kawaguchi, eating a dish prepared by him, and finally, a scene of him and Torajirō, played by Kenichi Takitō, cursing each other.
The teaser visual sheds spotlight on Tatsu, who is sitting on the director’s chair like a movie director, staring and celebrating the film’s release, with a text over him that says: “Celebration: The best househusband is coming to the big screen!”
There’s also another teaser visual where he’s holding many buckets of popcorn, saying “You better be LOADED with popcorn watching this movie!!”. How comedic!
