At today’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, a new puzzle-adventure game, Cocoon, was announced to release for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in 2023. The game was created by Jeppe Carlsen, the lead gameplay designer of Inside and Limbo.
The developer also revealed a brand-new gameplay trailer featuring the game’s top-down action and world-hopping adventure. Developed by Geometric Interactive and published by Annapurna Interactive, Cocoon will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one of release.

Cocoon is a sci-fi puzzle-adventure game, where players have to master the world-leaping mechanics as they try to unravel the cosmic mystery. Players will take the role of a winged creature and makes use of the portals and other objects to solve the puzzles. According to the trailer, the game seems to have similar mechanics to Inside, such as grappling objects and dragging them to certain points of the map in order to progress from one area to another.
