Both Furukawa and Takahashi expressed their excitement and thoughts on their characters. Furukawa emphasized the story’s charm, saying, “The strength to live in a world of despair leads to catharsis, which I find appealing in this work.” Takahashi spoke of her character Beatrix, stating, “She is very straightforward and passionate about what she’s decided to do, and she’s very likable. We’ll definitely become good friends. I won’t tell you what, but she’s very prickly.”

In addition, the second promotional video features Shizuka Mikazuki, played by Tomori Kusunoki, and the newly announced characters Kencho and Beatrix. The trailer also gives fans a preview of the opening theme for the anime “Song of the Dead” by Japanese Alternative Rock band Kana-Boon and the ending theme “Happiness of the Dead” by J-pop singer Shiyui.
