EXNOA’s DMM GAMES announced that the new “Re:Zero” browser game “Re:Zero -Starting Life In Another World- The Forbidden Book & Mysterious Spirit” (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活 禁書と謎の精霊) will launch in July.
From today (June 21) until the release, the pre-registration gacha will double the drop rate of ★ 5 characters for players to get their favorite characters beforehand.
The game’s theme song “Crossroads” is performed by Konomi Suzuki, who also sings for the opening song of the “Re:Zero” anime series.

Subaru carries a heavy curse in return for helping the cursed children of Aram Village. In order to save Subaru, Maid Rem of Roswar House goes alone into the forest where the demon beast Urgarm is. Subaru and Ram follow her to the forest. Although they manage to join Rem and save her, Subaru is cornered by Ulgarm, who has transformed into an alien form.
What saves desperate Subaru is the “mysterious spirit” that appears from the “forbidden book” that Subaru accidentally brought out of the mansion.

The game scenarios are divided into Main Story, Character Story, and Event Story, all of which are original stories. In this game, you can enjoy the world of “Re:Zero” from various angles such as world view, character, and original costume.
The novels’ illustrator Ootsuka Shinichirou is in charge of designing and supervising the illustrations of the new characters in this game. Otsuka is also responsible for creating some of the in-game illustrations.
“Re:Zero -Starting Life In Another World- The Forbidden Book & Mysterious Spirit” is an RPG that recreates the “Re:Zero” universe with a world map supervised by the original author Nagatsuki Tappei. Players will travel through the unseen world of “Re:Zero” with the Main Story.
